Brownstown Central High School’s football team finished the regular season with a 9-0 record and a No. 4 ranking in Class 3A.
But as the Braves begin postseason play, coach Reed May said their record — and everyone else’s — goes back to 0-0.
“The main thing I told the kids on Monday, ‘It’s a second season for us. Everybody is 0-0. The thing is, now if you win, you go on; if you don’t, you go home,’” May said. “We set ourselves up nicely right now for the tournament, and now we’ve got to see what we can do tournament time.”
