Brownstown Central's volleyball team had no trouble against a pair of Mid-Southern Conference opponents on Saturday at Charlestown.
First, the Braves (4-0, 3-0 MSC) took care of Clarksville 25-7, 25-7, 25-9. They then pounded the host Pirates 25-3, 25-5, 25-6.
Against Clarksville, Courtnie Pullen was 18 of 18 in serving with an ace, and Riley Wischmeier was 17 of 18 in hitting with a team-high nine kills. Brooke Otte led the team with five aces.
In the Charlestown match, Brownstown was 69 of 71 in serving with 21 aces. Nicole Thomas was 20 of 21 with 10 aces, and Pullen was 17 of 17 with three aces. The Braves had 21 kills, and Katelyn Gray led with four.
