BROWNSTOWN

The same four boys basketball teams that were in last year’s Class 3A Washington Regional are back on Saturday, but the first-round matchups are flipped.

At 10:30 a.m., No. 2 Greensburg (22-1) will play No. 5 Evansville Bosse (19-5). At noon, No. 4 Brownstown Central (23-1) will face Vincennes Lincoln (18-6).

“We’re just excited to be here,” Brownstown coach Dave Benter said. “Vincennes has got a very proud tradition. They’ve won 70 sectionals, and they’ll have a huge following there. We’re excited to play them. I’m excited to see Bosse and Greensburg play, too. I can’t imagine a much better 3A regional in the state. This is a loaded regional field.”
