CLARKSVILLE

After suffering a setback in Week 2 of the football season, the Brownstown Central Braves football team has reeled off five straight wins, including a 31-12 Mid-Southern Conference win Friday againt Clarksville.

The Braves entered the game knowing that the Generals were a much-

improved team, and they couldn’t take them lightly. Early on, the Generals used the clock in their favor, as they took almost eight minutes in the first quarter until Aidan McEwen found the end zone on a 3-yard run. The drive began at the 25-yard line.

After an onside kick, the Braves recovered the ball at the 50-yard line to begin their first drive of the game. Dylan Patman went up the middle for a 20-yard gain. Six plays later, Patman finished off the drive with a 4-yard run with 48.8 seconds left in the first quarter, and Nick Stahl’s PAT made it 7-6. The Braves never trailed the rest of the game.
