Brownstown Central won four of the five matches in straight sets Tuesday in scoring a 5-0 tennis win against visiting Jennings County.
Chaz Schneider won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles; Noah Killey won 6-2, 7-5 at No. 3 singles; Kent Criminger and Cole Brock teamed for a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles; and Mason McClure and Lute Lahrman didn’t give up a game at No. 2 doubles.
Brownstown’s Cole Borden won the first set 6-4 in his No. 2 singles match before Owen Land won the second set by the same score. Borden then held a 4-2 lead in the third set before lightning was spotted and the match was called.
