Brownstown Central put together strong serving and hitting for a 25-13, 25-12, 25-16 win Thursday at Bloomington North.
In serving, the Braves (2-0) were 72 of 77 with 10 aces. Brooke Otte led the way, going 24 of 24 with one ace, while Trinity Booher was 15 of 17 with a team-high six aces.
In hitting, Brownstown was 63 of 68 with 26 kills. Riley Wischmeier was a sharp 23 of 24 with nine kills, and Brooke Ebbing was 15 of 16 with seven kills.
