Brownstown Central’s girls tennis team won four matches in straight sets Tuesday night in knocking off host Henryville 4-1.
Calan Blevins won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles; Kirsten Acker won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles; Brooke Hattabaugh and Morgan Thompson won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles; and Sierra Trowbridge and Heidi Martin prevailed 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2 doubles to help the Braves move to 2-0 on the season.
Henryville’s sole point came from Sarah Johnson at No. 2 singles. She defeated Kelly Martin 6-0, 6-1.
