A section of State Road 3 will be closed for bridge construction starting Tuesday between Hog Creek and Stucker Ditch in Scott County.
The work is the beginning of a $1,755,500 bridge project in the Indiana Department of Transportation Seymour District.
Utility relocations and inclement weather could delay the closure date until the following week.
Gohmann Construction, the state’s contractor, will remove and replace the bridges that span Hog Creek and Stucker Ditch — closing State Road 3 between the bridge sites for up to 150 days.
An official detour routes through-traffic to State Road 356, State Road 203 and State Road 56.
