Broken pipe blamed on frigid temps; building out of service indefinitely

A broken water line Thursday afternoon forced officials to close Jackson Superior Court I until further notice.

If you have business to conduct with the court in the coming days, you will not be penalized for failing to appear or to meet your deadlines while the court is closed.

“We will not be able to conduct business,” Judge Bruce Markel III said after surveying damage to the building at 1420 Corporate Way on Seymour’s far west side.
