Brownstown Central High School choirs plan fall show



Brownstown Central High School Choral Department’s fall show will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 29 in the auditorium.

The show will feature selections by the freshman and advanced choirs.

The choirs will present “The Safety Dance,” “Tonight Tonight,” “Forget You,” “Jar of Hearts,” “I Look To You,” “Rolling In The Deep,” “Light Up the World” and “The Edge of Glory.”

Soloists will be Morgan Chastain, Becky Hartzler, Morgan Myers, Shelbie Judge, Kelsie Pullen, Avri Hackman, Bradie Prince and Jamie McCory.

Soloists on the choir selections are Zach Williams, Brad Wayman, Hackman, Jamie McCory, Kathryn Knapp, Judge, Aspen Cooper, Pullen, Hunter Wells, Christine Freeman, Lindsey LaPorga, Sarah Martin, Caylen Fortino, Myers, Hartzler, Megan Fleetwood, Katie Turner and Baylei Fleetwood.

Accompanists are Sarah Adams and choral director Jan Willey. Choreographers for the dance selections are Morgan Myers, Aspen Cooper and guest, Laura Merida. Sound and lights are under the direction of Marcia Anderson and Mark Meadows.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The choirs also will perform on the main stage at 3 p.m. Oct. 21 during the Fort Vallonia Days Festival. Selections from the fall show will be performed.
