Rarely have you seen the Brownstown Central boys basketball team trailing in a game this season.
But in Saturday’s Mid-Southern Conference showdown between the Class 3A No. 6 Braves and No. 3 Corydon Central, the host Panthers beat Brownstown in transition and led 14-9 after one quarter and 31-21 at halftime.
Corydon then built its lead to 12 going into the fourth quarter before Brownstown caught fire and forced not one but two overtimes. But in the end, the Panthers prevailed 73-72.
