At the conclusion of his freshman season playing basketball at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Spencer Allman had a decision to make.
Some of his teammates were leaving the program for a variety of reasons, and he thought about following suit.
He eventually did and began looking for another school.
“I was looking around, and then when the summer came around, I kind of ran out of stuff, and I couldn’t find anywhere. So I decided to take this year off,” the 2011 Brownstown Central High School graduate said. “When I didn’t find anything in the summer, it was kind of a self-esteem problem. I always thought there is always somewhere for someone to play; and when I didn’t find anything, it kind of set me back.”
