Brownstown Central’s freshman football team ended the season with a 14-6 win Monday at Edgewood.
The Braves junior varsity squad, however, had its undefeated streak snapped with a 32-20 setback to Corydon Central at home.
In the freshman game, Justin Donnells had a touchdown and a 2-point conversion, and Austin McMahon blocked a punt and recovered the ball for a TD. Also defensively, Matthew Lucas recovered a fumble.
The coaches named Donnells the offensive most valuable player; McMahon the special teams MVP; and Clay Hauer the defensive MVP.
