Brownstown library plans computer repair classes

Brownstown Public Library will be offering two computer classes Sept. 20.

The first class about computer repair and maintenance will be from 11 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn how to keep a computer running at optimum efficiency, and learn about hardware service and repair, software maintenance and tuning, safety and privacy controls and speeding up an older system.

The second class from 1 to 2 p.m. will be an introduction to the iPad. Participants will learn how to manage settings, navigate the iOS and install work with apps.

These classes are free and open to the public. Register at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 812-358-2853.
