Man faces federal drug charges

A 40-year-old Brownstown man accused of growing and dealing marijuana faces an Aug. 19 trial in federal district court in Indianapolis.

Phillip Todd Nash was arrested Thursday in Seymour on charges of growing more than 100 marijuana plants with intent to deliver; maintaining a place to grow more than 100 marijuana plants; possession of less than 50 kilograms of marijuana with intent to distribute; and possession of a handgun while being involved in drug trafficking.

Those charges were the result of an indictment issued by a federal grand jury and filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana at New Albany.
