Brownstown Central played SEC football on defense and Arena Football on offense Friday night during an overwhelming 74-0 victory over Mitchell.
Better make that video-game Arena Football.
The Braves (1-0) scored on their first three offensive plays and had a 54-0 lead midway through the second quarter. Quarterback Clay Brown, meanwhile, set a school single-game record by throwing five touchdowns and finished with 203 yards on 11 for 12 passing. Yes, 11 for 12.
“I’m kind of surprised (by the offensive output),” Braves coach Reed May said.
