Brownstown team swims to 11th-straight conference crown

SCOTTSBURG

The Brownstown Brave Wave swim team used its depth to win its 11th consecutive South Central Indiana Swim Conference meet on Saturday at the indoor pool at the Scott County Family YMCA.

The Brave Wave boys and girls combined for a winning score of 838, while the Scott County Stingrays were second with 387, and the Mitchell Marlins were third with 354 points.

Leading the Brownstown girls were Kenzie Persinger and Mary Kate Pritchett. They each won three individual events and swam on winning relay teams.
