A major building project and the search for a new superintendent will be items of discussion when Seymour Community Schools board of trustees meets Monday.
The board has scheduled a special work session at 6 p.m. at the administration office to receive an update from Kovert Hawkins architects on projects to add four classrooms to Emerson Elementary School and lighting at the Seymour High School softball diamond.
Interim superintendent Bob Hooker also will present information on the superintendent search process, including school board governance, the superintendent’s job description, sample interview questions and a draft timeline for when interviews and public meetings might take place.
