The ribbon cutting for the U.S. 50 bypass at North Vernon is being moved indoors because of recent weather.

The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Park Theatre Civic Center downtown at 25 N. Madison Ave.

The public is invited to hear Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann and Muscatatuck’s Maj. Gen. Omer Tooley provide brief remarks before the Indiana Department of Transportation and local officials join them on stage to cut the ceremonial ribbon.
