CPD counterfeit money investigation leads to arrest of 3 Jackson County men



COLUMBUS, Ind. — A nearly year-long counterfeit money investigation by the Columbus Police Department culminated in the arrest of three Jackson County men late Friday night.

Gary P. "G.P." Moore, 63, Seymour; Otha T. Bryant, 30, Freetown; and Jacob S. Mondle, 45, Medora, were arrested at a residence in the 300 block of Kessler Boulevard in Seymour.

Information received Friday afternoon led detectives from the Columbus and Seymour police departments and agents from the Secret Service to the home where a search warrant was served, according to a media release from the Columbus Police Department. A sum of counterfeit currency, crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were seized at the home.
