CVS decision on tobacco cheered

Complications from lung disease twice forced Jennifer Froman onto a ventilator in the past two years to pump oxygen into her body.

Last week, the Seymour resident started a six-week tobacco cessation course to try to help her stop smoking, a habit the 40-year-old started at age 15.

Froman supports the recent decision by CVS Caremark Corp. to phase out cigarettes and other tobacco products from its 7,600 stores, including those in Brownstown and Seymour.
