Caped Crusader gets his day at county libraries

Jackson County Public Library will celebrate Batman Day with a drop-in craft at all locations July 30.

Children will make a Batman or Batgirl “flyer,” and teens will be challenged with a Batman or Batgirl cubecraft, according to a news release from the library.

DC Comics and Random House provided free promotional materials to libraries hosting a Batman Day event in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Caped Crusader. Buttons, temporary tattoos and Batman masks will be distributed while supplies last.
