Editorial: Care of businesses key priority for area

The economic development philosophy of attracting new businesses to Jackson County is alive and well.

So, too, is the philosophy of taking care of those who are already here.

Both philosophies were at the core of the mission of a Jackson County Economic Development Corp. contingent of two — director Jim Plump and Seymour Mayor Craig Luedeman — who embarked on a trip to Japan earlier this month.
