Centra grant to boost girls’ financial literacy



Centra Foundation recently awarded a grant to Girls Inc. of Jackson County to support financial literacy programming for local girls.

Girls Inc. provides after-school and summer programs for girls 6 to 16 living in Jackson County.

“Centra Foundation and Centra Credit Union believe in the importance of teaching financial literacy and money management skills to young people,” foundation president Lyn Morgan said. “The foundation is pleased to provide grant support for the Equal Earners, Savvy Spenders program.”
