Chapter recognizes 25 years of service

The Gamma Phi chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa Inc. kicked off the 2012-2013 year Aug. 21 with a pitch-in dinner at the home of Mindy Roeder.

Roeder, Meredith Henry, Alyson Fish and Linda Hume organized the event.

Following the meal, President Katherine Stahl conducted the business meeting. Officers and committee chairs gave their reports.

The chapter also met Sept. 4 at Seymour First United Methodist Church for the annual anniversary dinner and monthly business meeting.

A catered meal was served and followed by cupcakes.

In addition to Gamma Phi’s annual anniversary ceremony, the chapter recognized four women for their 25 years of service to Tri Kappa. They are Kitty Lewis, Mary Elisabeth Keller, Amy Boger and Linda Hume.

Following dinner and ceremonies, Oktoberfest committee chairwoman Nikki Storey gave an update about preparations for the upcoming annual Tri Kappa Cake Walk at the Seymour Oktoberfest.
