Charlestown pitching keeps Seymour hitless in home loss

The Seymour softball team didn’t have anything go its way Monday as the Owls were no-hit in a 12-1 loss to Charlestown.

Owls coach Brian Personett knew Charlestown was a good team, and he also knew that pitcher Alli Webster was good.

“We just ran into a buzzsaw,” he said. “Webster is a pretty good pitcher, and she was second-team all-state last year. She is pretty solid, and I think she has gotten better since last year.
