Chili supper planned at Trinity United Methodist in Seymour

Trinity United Methodist Church will conduct a chili supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the basement of the church, 333 S. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The menu will feature several chili recipes, and those attending can donate their extra change to vote for their favorite recipe. There also will be crackers, cheese, peanut butter and jelly, relish plates, dessert and drinks.

All proceeds support the church’s upcoming mission trip to the impoverished Appalachian area of southeastern Kentucky where the team will be doing service projects.

The cost is $5 per adult and $3 for children 5 to 10 years old. Children younger than 5 are free.
