Church plans Easter sunrise service at old City Cemetery

A local Lutheran church plans to set the stage for Easter by having a sunrise service in a cemetery.

Peace Lutheran Church in Seymour has received approval from the board of works to use the old City Cemetery on North Ewing Street as the location for an Easter morning service on April 20.

This will be the second year for the 6:30 a.m. service. Last year, the church met at Lutheran Cemetery on Vehslage Road.
