Church plans annual Halloween party

Brownstown Christian Church is offering a safe alternative to trick-or-treating for elementary school-aged kids.

Its annual Harvest Party will be Wednesday.

Registration and sign-in starts at 6 p.m., and the party ends at 8 p.m.

Everything is conducted inside the church, so the kids are not traveling on roads in the dark and can share a great time with their friends.

The event will include snacks, games, prizes, pictures, costumes and, of course, candy.

The church is at 703 W. Spring St., Brownstown.
