City gets cash to redo Second Street

Seymour received final funding from the state for a major road project to widen and improve West Second Street.

The Indiana Department of Transportation awarded $86 million in federal transportation money last week to communities throughout the state for road construction, bridge work and bicycle and pedestrian projects.

Seymour received $648,000 to widen and resurface Second Street from Vehslage Road to Springhill Road.
