Class A No. 7 Warriors top Crothersville

Christian Academy defeated Crothersville 62-44 in Tuesday night's boys basketball game on the Warriors’ floor.

The Class A No. 7 Warriors (14-4) held a 27-25 lead at the half before outscoring the Tigers 16-7 in the third quarter.

Tigers coach Greg Kilgore said Christian Academy changed its defense in the third quarter and denied Brian Money the ball after he scored seven points in the first half.

Kilgore said the Warriors' size, consisting of 6-foot-10 and 6-7 players, also bothered his team.

Jacob Davidson was high scorer for the Tigers (9-10) with nine points, and Tyler Luedeman scored eight.
