Clearspring High School class of 1952 gathers

Members of Clearspring High School class of 1952, along with their spouses and friends, met recently at Stahl’s Cafe in Ewing for a meal, reminiscing and taking pictures.

A moment of silent prayer was held in memory of four classmates who had passed away this past year, Christina Kirts Crider, Marcella Curry Brock, Laticia Smith, Ryan Massengale and Roberta Mae Star Atkins.

Those attending were Dorence and Bonnie Ryan Pearson, Dale and Wilma Hanner Sovern, all of Columbus; Marvin and Ruth Maynard, Seymour; Hazel Ryan McKinney and granddaughter, Sarah, from Martinsburg, W.Va.; Joyce Ryan Smith, Pekin; James and Lynn Powers, Lafayette; and Bill and Bonnie Combs, Jerry and Harriett Warren, and Rose Whittredge Wray from Brownstown.

Classmates unable to attend were Bill and Janet Noe Welliver, Indianapolis; Joyce Ann Goforth Barrett, Frankton; Paul and Jane Crockett, Medora; and Neal and Susan Cummings McCory, Brownstown.
