The Seymour boys and girls and Brownstown Central boys will compete in the Brown County Semistate cross-country meet this Saturday as a result of turning in strong performances in Saturday’s Brown County Regional.
The Seymour boys placed third with 133 points, and Brownstown was fourth with 140. Columbus North runners filled the first five positions and won the title with 15 points, and Martinsville was second with 99. The top five teams advance, and Columbus East grabbed the final spot.
The Columbus North girls also were easy winners with 18 points, while Silver Creek was second with 73, Brown County had 107, Seymour was fourth with 132 and Columbus East finished fifth with 146.
