Column: Biblically unwise to associate with occult



Last week we began a journey through some of the most common questions people ask about life, death and the afterlife. We are referring to the Bible as our source of truth.

Today’s question is broad enough to include a lot of subcategories that need to be addressed alongside the primary question — Should a person ever try to contact the dead?

And what about a séance, Ouija boards, palm readers, psychics, tarot cards, fortune tellers, zodiac signs and even horoscopes? Are these kinds of things innocent fun, or are they dangerous and to be avoided?
