Column: Encouragement is never small, possible in all our conversations



Encouragement can begin with something as simple as a question. This won’t cost you a cent. Just ask, “How are you doing?”

Then be willing to really listen.

Please don’t underestimate the importance of speaking words of encouragement to the people you love. They need to hear your encouraging words.

What a great thing for parents to be able to sit down with their children and speak words of blessing to them. Every time you bump into somebody and have even a brief conversation, it’s an opportunity for encouragement. Think what this could mean for you and them.
