How about the gift of a smoke-free home for Christmas?

More families are choosing to have a nonsmoking home for Christmas celebrations this year, according to the Indiana Department of Health.

Locally, Jackson County Health Department statistics show that approximately 73.7 percent of Jackson County residents do not smoke, which means more family members are enjoying Christmas Day and other family gatherings in a safer environment this year.
