Column: Learning to live in Christ creates fundamental change at our core

In recent weeks, we have seen how through one act of sin and rebellion, Adam did something wrong that impacted the entire human race.

The good news is that in one act of obedience, Jesus Christ did something that overpowered Adam’s one act of sin and rebellion. What Jesus has done not only provides a way for us to go to heaven when we die but also makes it possible for us to live a new kind of life here on this Earth. (See Romans 5:15-19)

Maybe you feel as if you haven’t been able to figure out how to live the life God is calling you to live. You just haven’t been able to pull it off on your own. Isn’t there more to living life in Jesus Christ than living just like I was living in Adam, with the exception that I now go to church on Sunday?
