Column: Listening, understanding key to true richness in relationships

We’ve been thinking through what it means to be rich.

By worldwide standards, most people living in the United States would be considered wealthy monetarily, but riches are much broader than just money or possessions. One of the greatest ways to be rich is in relationships. Our desire is to be relationally rich vertically, with God, and horizontally, with the key people in our lives.

Just as we would make incremental investments financially, we must also make daily investments in our relationships so they can flourish and grow.
