Healthy Jackson County is a group of community members working together to improve the health of the residents of our county. Our vision is a healthier Jackson County with a mission to promote healthy behaviors throughout Jackson County.
Our grassroots organization started in the spring of 2011 after the Robert Wood Johnson County Health Rankings were released.
Our group consists of all volunteers with representatives from Jackson County Health Department, Purdue Extension, Schneck Medical Center, Jamestown Apartments, Head Start, Medora Community Schools, WIC, Child Care Network, Jackson County Public Library and others.
