As you make your way around the Jackson County Fairgrounds this week, you might look for a little red lawn tractor that students at Brownstown Central High School helped restore to its original 1962 luster.

The tractor, now owned by John Ault of the Norman area, was a project for students in Blake Hackman’s spring semester Ag Mechanics class at Brownstown Central High School. It’s on display this week in the Young McDonald’s Farm/FFA Building at the fairgrounds off State Road 250.

“They did a great job with it,” Ault said on a recent visit to The Tribune office. He was talking about Clate Kaiser, Clayton Mann and Jay Wehmiller.
