Column: United Way, partners helping create chances for children to succeed

Jackson County United Way is proud to lead a partnership of educational and industrial leaders, civic organizations and places of worship, as well as community volunteers focused on creating opportunities for all children to succeed in school.

The agency’s work has always been focused on building a stronger community, and newer programs like Rock’n Ready and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance continue this work.

This annual milestone isn’t the experience for many children whose families are struggling financially.
