Seymour police may not see a big increase in crime on one of the busiest shopping days of the year, but they still find plenty to do on Black Friday.
“We usually have a lot more accidents, especially in crowded parking lots,” Assistant Police Chief Craig Hayes said. “There are just a lot more people out driving.”
Hayes said motorists need to be cautious and take their time during the busy holiday season.
