Community Diner seeks help, home

Community Diner continues its support base but remains in need of a more permanent building to serve meals to the needy on a daily basis. 

The nonprofit group now serves a monthly meal out of Seymour Community Center at 107 S. Chestnut St. It started up in March 2012 and it now serves an average of 50 people every third Monday of the month.

Eleven area churches in Seymour recently made a commitment to support the diner financially and to help with serving meals. But more help and donations are needed.
