Community Diner is inviting the public to a meeting next week to discuss the nonprofit's future.
The meeting will be at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Foundation of Jackson County Building, 107 Community Drive.
Central Christian Church of Seymour is sponsoring the meeting to bring churches, organizations, businesses and anyone who would like to strengthen participation in feeding people in need, board president Lucy Dembek said.
Community Diner has been feeding people at the Seymour Community Center once a month and is looking for a permanent home to offer meals on a daily basis.
"We are encouraged to find others who have the same desire as we have and want to work collaboratively with them," Dembek said.
"Central Christian Church is a supporter of Community Diner, and we feel comfortable in supporting their mission to unite churches, social agencies and government offices in meeting the needs of our community," she added.
