The annual Sertoma Benefit Concert has raised more than $25,000 in the past five years to help buy toys for less fortunate children in Jackson County at Christmas.
Sometimes that’s hard for organizer Adam Nicholson to believe, although he’s come to understand that when it comes to opening up hearts and wallets to help others, he can always count on the community’s support.
This year’s show, taking place Wednesday at Pewter Hall in Brownstown, could be the biggest and best one yet, he added. Doors open at 6 p.m.
