Conservation club plans fish fry Saturday

Members of the Tri-County Conservation Club invite the public to the club’s final fish and team cornhole tourney of the year.

The event starts at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Cornhole tourney registration will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the first pitch starting at noon, weather permitting.

Cost is $10 a team, with first- and second-place winnings.

Call-in orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. by calling 498-6522, 498-4447 or 498-4448.

The menu will consist of fish sandwiches, french fries, potato salad, coleslaw, desserts and drinks. Dinners will be sold, as well.

As of 2013, rental fee of the building will be $50 and available for nonmembers to rent as well as members. For an additional $10, during time of rental, renters and their guests may fish according to rules of the lake.
