Susie Gleyze-Thomas of Seymour recently joined nearly 50,000 Mary Kay independent consultants at the company’s annual seminar, which began July 21 and ended Wednesday in Dallas, Texas.
Gleyze-Thomas began her Mary Kay business in 1997 and is an independent senior sales director. At the seminar, she was recognized for earning Premiere Club Career Car status and for being a part of a Diamond Circle National Area.
This year, the company’s consultants were encouraged to bring gently used professional attire to donate to domestic violence shelters as part of the annual Mary Kay “Suits for Shelters” program. Last year’s effort resulted in the donation of more than 2,500 outfits for domestic violence survivors seeking jobs.
