From her hitting to her blocking to her serving to her back-row defense, Sarah Stuckwisch was an integral part of the Trinity Lutheran High School volleyball team.
The senior led the team this fall with 406 kills and more than 200 blocks, and she had nearly 40 aces and 30 digs.
Stuckwisch helped the Cougars win two invitationals, finish second in another tournament, capture sectional and regional titles for the third straight year and finish 33-5. In the final coaches poll, Trinity received its highest ranking of fourth in Class A.
At the end of the season, Stuckwisch was named one of the team’s most valuable players; she received the senior award and Cougar Award; and she was named to the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association all-state first team and academic all-state team.
