If Jonathan Rollins isn’t catching the football, he is doing things on the field to help a teammate make a play.
Last fall, in Trinity Lutheran High School’s first season of football, Rollins was a wide receiver on the left side. This year, for his senior season, he has moved to slot.
“If you know you’re not getting the ball thrown to you, you’ve still got to either run your route or block really well because if you run your route, that influences the defense to go a certain way, which helps get your friends open,” Rollins said.
