Cougars honored for achievements

Seniors took home most valuable awards for all but two teams during Tuesday night’s fall sports awards program at Trinity Lutheran High School.

For the regional-qualifying soccer team, senior captain Stone Riddle earned the MVP award. He helped the team win the school’s second sectional title, advance to the regional finals and end with an 11-9 record.

“He helped lead the team all year long,” assistant coach Brandan Tabeling said. “He was there for us every game and helped lead every practice.”
